The Guitar Art Festival, Belgrade’s
prestigious tribute to the world’s most
talented strummers, pickers and
pluckers, celebrates its 13th birthday
this year, with performances and
master classes courtesy of awe-
inspiring guitarists from all over Europe
and the world – as well as competitions
designed to discover the musical
prodigies who’ll be wowing us in the
future. In particular, you should try to
attend one of the showcase evening
concerts taking place on each night of
the festival. One of the biggest
highlights of the five days is likely to be
fado legend António Chainho, whose
LisGoa Project is an intriguing fusion of
fado and Indian music.
