AS TOLD TO
ISABELLE ARON
congratulations on your award! how did
you feel when you won
?
“
I was quite surprised, as all of us work very
hard. It was quite unexpected. I’ve been
working for 10 years in different companies
–
hotels, restaurants, airlines – and I never
received a thank you for my job, so receiving
a prize for what I do, for my passion, was
absolutely great. It really touches your heart
and motivates you to always do your best.”
how did you get into working here
?
“
I had worked for two other airlines doing
long haul before, but some of my friends were
working for easyJet and they kept telling me
about the company and that it was a really nice
place to work.”
how do you find it
?
“
It’s a really excellent environment, so that
makes you quite calm, with no stress, because
you have nice people all around you – it’s
friendly and professional.”
tell us a bit about your role.
“
I have two areas of responsibility, though my
primary one is about safety for my colleagues and
our customers. The other one is to give the best
flying experience while they’re on board.”
what’s the secret to your success
?
“
I think there’s always a solution to everything.
Even a tough situation can be sorted out. If you
just think that, you can solve anything. It just
makes everything easier and also changes your
attitude. If you bring a positive attitude, the
crew will be positive throughout the day.”
what are your plans for the future
?
“
Every
day we keep on trying to improve every aspect,
to really satisfy our customers 100%. It’s the
best company to fly with and I really hope our
customers feel that way too.”
