of the city’s wealthiest patrons ever since
it was completed in 1876. Lined with
spectacular palaces and art nouveau
shop fronts, the iconic boulevard has
always been the place to see and be seen.
That remains the case today. It’s a must for
anyone who wants to indulge in a spot of window
shopping or enjoy some serious culture, such as the
State Opera. But take a trip there on a bright Sunday
morning and you’ll also find another type of pampered
individual padding along the wide walkway towards City
Park – of the canine variety.
You could say, in fact, that the Hungarian capital has
