US customs and immigration
P
assengers entering the United States under the
Visa Waiver programme are required to register
online with the Electronic System for Travel
Authorisation (ESTA) prior to departure.
Authorisation may take up to 72 hours so please ensure
you register as early as possible.
Travellers entering the
United States without a visa must hold a machine-readable
passport. This applies to children and infants as well.
U.S. I-94 Arrival/Departure Record
Passengers entering the U.S. in possession of a visa must
enter details of entry into and departure from the U.S. on
the white I-94 Arrival/Departure Record (one per person,
including infants). Be sure to include the street name
and number, city and state of your address in the U.S. If
you are travelling around to different places in the U.S.,
it is sufficient to give the first address of your stay. Please
use the same address that you gave when you checked
in for your flight. If you are a transit passenger, please
write “TRANSIT” in space 14 and your final destination
country in space 15. Write in English, in capital letters.
U.S. Customs Declaration
All passengers must complete the Customs Declaration
before arrival in the U.S. On the front, please enter your
personal particulars, answer all questions and sign. If you
are carrying any dutiable goods, these must be declared
on the reverse. If you are a transit passenger, please write
“
TRANSIT” and your final destination country. Please read
both sides of the declaration and place your signature at
the bottom. Write in English, in capital letters.
If you are transporting more than US$10,000 (currency
or other monetary instruments) into/from the United
States, please inform a member of our crew who will
provide you with the appropriate declaration form.

heures, il leur est recommandé de remplir ces formalités le
plus tôt possible.
Les passagers qui entrent sur le territoire américain sans visa
doivent obligatoirement être en possession d’un passeport
électronique. Cette mesure s’applique également aux enfants et
aux nouveau-nés.
Formulaire I-94 d’enregistrement des arrivées/départs
Les ressortissants étrangers admis aux Etats-Unis munis d’un
visa, sont priés de faire figurer les détails de leurs arrivée et
départ sur le formulaire blanc d’enregistrement I-94 «Arrivée/
Départ» (un formulaire par personne, y compris pour les enfants
en bas âge). Veillez à bien y indiquer les nom et numéro de rue,
ainsi que la ville et l’Etat de votre lieu de résidence aux
Etats-Unis. Si vous avez l’intention de vous déplacer aux USA,
il est suffisant de ne préciser que l’adresse de votre première
destination. Cette dernière doit être identique à celle transmise
lors de la confirmation de votre vol. Si vous êtes en transit,
précisez «TRANSIT» dans l’espace 14 et le pays de votre
destination finale dans l’espace 15. Le tout doit être rédigé
en anglais et en lettres capitales.
Déclaration de douane
Tout passager se doit de compléter le formulaire de déclaration
de douane avant son arrivée sur le sol américain. Au recto,
veuillez préciser votre signalement personnel, répondre aux
questions puis signer. Si vous transportez des marchandises
taxables, celles-ci doivent être déclarées au verso. Si vous
voyagez en transit, précisez «TRANSIT» et le pays de votre
destination finale. Vous confirmez enfin avoir pris connaissance
des deux faces du document en signant au bas de chacune.
Le tout doit être rédigé en anglais et en lettres capitales.
Si vous transportez une somme supérieure à 10 000 US$ depuis
ou vers les Etats-Unis (espèces ou tout autre moyen de paiement),
merci d’informer un des membres de notre équipage afin de
recevoir le formulaire approprié pour votre déclaration.

naar de Verenigde Staten willen reizen, moeten voor
hun vertrek online een aanvraag indienen via het
Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA). Het
kan tot 72 uur duren vooraleer de reistoestemming verleend
wordt, doe de aanvraag dus zo vroeg mogelijk.
Reizigers die de Verenigde Staten zonder visum bezoeken,
moeten in het bezit zijn van een machinaal leesbaar paspoort.
Dat geldt ook voor kinderen en baby’s.

Alle passagiers die met een visum naar de VS willen reizen,
moeten op het witte I-94 aankomst/vertrekformulier (één
per persoon, kinderen en baby’s inbegrepen) invullen wanneer
ze aankomen in en weer vertrekken uit de VS. Vergeet ook niet
het adres (straatnaam, huisnummer, stad en staat) van uw
verblijfplaats in de VS in te vullen. Als u rondreist naar
verschillende plaatsen in de VS, volstaat het om enkel het
eerste adres op te geven. Zorg ervoor dat u hetzelfde adres
gebruikt als dat wat u bij het inchecken hebt opgegeven.
Bent u op doorreis, schrijf dan ‘TRANSIT’ in vakje 14 en het land
van uw eindbestemming in vakje 15. Schrijf in het Engels en
gebruik hoofdletters.

kanten van het aangifteformulier zorgvuldig en plaats uw
handtekening onderaan. Schrijf in het Engels en gebruik hoofdletters.
Indien u van/naar VS reist met goederen of betaalmiddelen met
een waarde van meer dan $10 000 , gelieve onze bemanning
hiervan op de hoogte te brengen. Zij zullen u het nodige
aangifteformulier bezorgen.
