“I’m seeing how the business side
reacts to thepotential ofmebeing in
amovienow,”Pratt says. “SoIgetnow
why that’s important. [Now] someone
can, iftheyhaveagreat ideaandagreat
scriptandagreatdirector,buttheycan’t
getfinancing for theirmovie, I think if
Iwantedtodo it, theycouldgetfinanc-
ing for theirmovie. That’snow real to
me.Andthereasonwhy isthatastudio
executivecansay—Idon’tknowthatI
wanttogettoodeepintoit—butevery-
oneiskindofcoveringtheirbutts,okay?
Everystudioheadisgoingtosay, ‘Ifthis

“They don’t want to take chances
for that reason. If you cast an un-

they’ll be like, ‘Yeah,well, of course it
didn’t,dummy,becauseyoucastanun-
