To pump hydraulic fluid into the system, pressure is applied by hand. The pressure is transferred to another area, and the resultant force can reach 25 tons.

The most common reason for a soft/spongy pedal is air in the brake lines. Breathing in air can cause the brake pedal to feel soft or spongy. If your brakes feel spongy or soft, it is time to flush or change the brake fluid.

The bending length of the press brake should be slightly longer than the sheets you wish to bend. The press brake can become damaged or destroyed if it isn't the right size.

Hydraulic brakes use brake fluid within sealed tubing between the lever and caliper. This fluid is usually either DOT fluid, or mineral oil/fluid. Both fluids can cause contamination over time so it is important to flush the system and have fluid changed periodically.

F1 brakes can be difficult because all of the driving force must be generated by the driver. There cannot be power assistance. The pedal acts almost as an on/off switch, and there is rarely any need to use gentle braking.
