Clarity Revit Add-in

Ensure that you have the Clarity Revit Add-in installer or contact your system administrator. The add-in adds an icon to the Revit ribbon.

The image shows the Revit ribbon when a model that is setup in a Clarity Project is open.

Note: The Clarity Client Revit Add-in can be used for Revit Server security, but can also be used for a variety of task and change order tools with all kinds of Projects.

You can use the Clarity Revit Add-in if:

• You are using the Clarity Security module with Revit Server, and the administrator has configured Clarity Authentication to prove who you are. (This affects your ability to open Revit Server models).
• You want to use the Round Trip Data Editing features in Clarity, which enables you to review, approve, or rejected requested data changes in the web from Revit.
• You want Clarity to track your Synch to Central times, which enables BIM coordinators to check if there are performance issues.
• You want to launch Clarity tasks for the current model.
• You want to jump to the Clarity homepage for the current model's project.
• You want to run the Model Metrics on the current model
• You want to report a Model Event that happened on the current model
