In the past two decades I’ve had the opportunity to run a Christmas Light Setup in Houston, Texas. This was my second job in a year as I was laid off in my last position in a department store. I thought that Christmas would be the opportunity to give back something to people who were less fortunate than me. I got to my job in Houston, Texas a little late and did not have enough time to store all day. I had been requested to sign into the back office and they told me that they needed someone to aid with the lights at Christmas time and would look after it for them. It seemed like a fantastic deal to me and I signed up to help.

My first job was to set up the lights at Christmas time.
