The hooeey toolbar and button for Firefox 3.5 (Windows, Mac and Linux) has been released. We thank our users for their patience.

SEOptmise, a UK-based SEO blog is carrying an interesting article listing “30+Great Web Tools You Might Not Know, But Should” that lists hoeey as one of the interesting web applications discovered this year.

hooeey now offers users a convenient way to login–with OpenID. For those not familiar with OpenID, it can be summed up as an emerging platform for a universal log-in. It aims to create a single, easy-to-use , digital identity across the web. This means that you can login into any of the OpenID compliant sites with a single id. The good news is that existing hooeey users may also link their accounts to their OpenID for convenience:
