In past projects, I have had the opportunity to
Evaluate, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware components and operating systems. Configure and manage Cisco switches within multiprotocol internetworks, including VoIP (voice over Internet protocol), wireless network protocols, and routing protocols. Manage and troubleshoot features of Windows Server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Desktop Security, and Remote. Design, develop and write appropriate and effective technical documents.
Design, implement, and administer local-area and wide-area networks to satisfy organizational goals. Resolve IT system problems and meet the needs of end users by applying troubleshooting methodologies. Apply relevant policies and procedures to effectively secure and monitor IT systems. Effectively communicate IT knowledge using a wide range of presentation styles. Meet organizational goals using effective workforce skills, best practices, and ethical principles. -

Performing administrative follow up actions and collaborating with the clinical team to assure continuity of care.
Coordinating and/or scheduling patient appointments with other clinics or specialties.
Educating providers about shared patients receiving care at non-VA provider, and brining such patients to the attention of the provider.
Performing administrative duties in support of provider panel management using various databases to extract, categorize, and collate specific patient/provider metrics required to manage.

Network Security Intern
Serve as a technical resource to the Vulnerability Scanning Team. Provide technical assistance with the analysis and interpretation of scanning data collected by a Nessus vulnerability scanner.
Implement, configure, update, patch, troubleshoot, and maintain critical Information Security tool that promote the security of enterprise systems and applications.
Perform network engineering tasks on Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
Implementation and management of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
Deploy and Support Wireless Access Point (AP) including monitoring and remediation of rouge access point.
Provide technical assistance for the implementation and deployment of a range of security tools, including Endpoint Protection and Host Based Security System (HBSS) to ensure a real-time response to network-based threats.
Deploy network security solutions (Firewalls, VPN) to protect network perimeter and provide secure access to internal resources.
Deploy and support Window Server Group Policy.
