Community Involvement community involvement The Missouri Southern Football Program is an active participant in the community service efforts in the Joplin Metro Area. The Lions volunteer their time at the Southwest Missouri Area Special Olympics. The Special Olympics event had athletes from 45 schools and agencies from the Southwest Missouri Area.
