They have conducted practices during camp on the Spratt Stadium game field. Over the first four years, an average of just over 1,800 fans per day attended training camp practices with in-stadium practices averaging over 6,000 fans. A Spratt Stadium record, 10,720, attended Family Fun Day in 2010, a day in which the Chiefs conducted an intrasquad scrimmage and full team autograph session. The camp has brought MWSU tremendous national attention via the many local, regional and national affiliates that cover the Chiefs. National pundits who have attended Chiefs camp at MWSU include Sports Illustrated’s Peter King, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen and numerous personalities from NFL Network.
