Griffon Football has established itself as a perennial power in NCAA Division II Football. Of the 167 teams that compete in Division II, the Griffons have a record of 84-36 over the last decade, including 37 wins over the last four years. That is the sixth highest total in the country during this time. In the Jerry Partridge era, 215 student-athletes have been named to All-MIAA teams including 17 All-Americans. With the high level of success, the Griffons continue to produce professional talent, as five Griffons are currently on NFL or CFL rosters including St. Louis Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein, Chicago Bears defensive end David Bass, Green Bay Packers running back Michael Hill, Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Reggie Jordan and B.C. Lions quarterback Travis Partridge.
