Support Staff Darin Moore Head Athletic Trainer Justin Maskus Athletic Media Relations Director Justin Maskus enters his eghth year as the Athletic Media Relations Director at Missouri Southern State University. At Southern, he is responsible for all athletics publications, media relations for all 14 sports, statistics, and maintenance and design of the Missouri Southern athletics website. Prior to Southern, Maskus spent three years as the Sports Information Director at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, and two years as the Assistant Sports Information Director at Southeast Missouri State University. He was the primary media relations contact for each of CBU's 13 intercollegiate sports and served as the lead designer on the departmental web site. He also served as the lead statistician and was instrumental in the debut of the Buccaneer Sports Network, broadcasting basketball and baseball games live via the internet. At Southeast, Maskus was responsible for the media relations efforts of five Division I programs as well as development of media guides and the athletics website. He worked with baseball, women's basketball, volleyball, golf and gymnastics while assisting with football and men's basketball. He recently finished up a four-year term on the NCAA Division II Baseball Committee, having served as the Chair of the South Central Region. Maskus earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Relations and Graphic Arts from the University of Central Missouri in 2001. He is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, the United States Basketball Writers Association and the Football Writers Association of America. The St. Louis, Mo. native was married to Julie Arnold, a special education teacher at Webb City High School in June of 2012. The couple reside in Joplin. Darin Moore, now in his 11th year at Missouri Southern, took over in January of 2003 as head athletic trainer. He heads the Southern staff after serving three years as head athletic trainer at Vancleve (Miss.) High School and one year at Greenville (Ala.) High School. A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, he also was assistant athletic trainer at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College. Moore received a master's of education-physical education degree in 1998 from Delta State University, where he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer, and a bachelor of science degree in physical education/human movement studies from Kent State University in 1996. A native of Lewistown, Ill., Moore also earned an associate of arts degree from Coffeyville Community College. Moore is married to the former Stephanie Shrum in July of 2007. The couple resides in Joplin and welcomed their first child, Ella, in September of 2008. Amanda Wolf Assistant Athletic Trainer With nearly 18 years of athletic training experience, Amanda Wolf is in her ninth year as assistant athletic trainer at Missouri Southern State University. A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Wolf came to the Lions after two years as the head athletic trainer at McPherson (Kan.) College. There, she worked with 14 activities at the NAIA Division II institution and taught courses in the physical education department. Wolf previously worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Fort Hays (Kan.) State University, where she assisted with 16 NCAA Division II activities. Wolf, a native of Nevada, Mo., graduated from Missouri Southern in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in health promotion & wellness. While a student at MSSU, Wolf served as a student athletic trainer under former head trainer Marty Conklin and helped with 17 Southern sports and activities. She earned her master's degree in health, physical education and recreation, with an emphasis in exercise science and sports administration, from Fort Hays State in 2002. Wolf and her husband, Kyle, have two daughters, Ava Grace, Leah and newborn Mya. The couple currently resides in Webb City. Randon Coffey Director of Marketing/Corp. Sales Coffey begins his second year at Southern as Director of Marketing and Corporate Sales. Coffey grew up in Webb City, MO and went on to graduate from Missouri Southern in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. While attending MSSU he worked in the athletics department doing marketing and in-game coordination for four years. Upon graduation Coffey went on to intern with the Kansas City Chiefs in their sponsorship department and came back to Missouri Southern full-time at the conclusion of the internship. 6 2014 MSSU BASEBALL @mososports missourisouthernlions mssulions.com
