Newcomers 39 • Brett Graham • INF 6-1 • 195 • R/R • Freshman • Joplin, Mo./Joplin HS Prior to Southern - Brett was a three year starter at 3B for former Lion Kirk Harryman at Joplin High School. During his senior year Brett hit for a .425 AVG, had 13 2B's, 5 HR's, and 30 RBI's. As a senior he was a 1st Team All-Ozark Conference selection, was named the Ozark Conference Offensive Player of the year, and was a Class 5 2nd Team All-State selection. Personal - Brett is the son of Randy and Becky Graham and plans to major in education. 40 • Derek Mann • RHP 6-4 • 170 • R/R • Junior • Webb City, Mo./North Central (Texas) College Personal - Originally from Webb City, Derek spent the last two years playing for Coach Hillerman at North Central CC. In 10 starts last season Derek was 4-6 with a 4.68 ERA, 27 K's, 18 BB's, and had 2 complete games in 50 innings pitched. Personal - He is the son of Jackie McKibben and plans to major in elementary education. 43 • Dylan Weaver • C 6-2 • 170 • R/R • Freshman • Riverton, Kan./Riverton HS Prior to Southern - Dylan is a catcher from Riverton High School where he played for Coach Weaver. As a senior he had a .464 AVG, with 12 2B's, and 17 RBI's in 20 games played. Dylan was a Class 3A 1st Team All-State selection at catcher following his senior season.
