Leftfield Deck: If baseball hits wooden extension above 8’ wall – homerun. 12. Fly ball or bouncing baseball striking and remaining in padded billboard: Ground Rule Double. 13. Baseball bouncing over outfield wall after landing in fair territory: Ground Rule Double. 14. Batted or thrown baseball reaching 1st and 3rd base concrete runways out of play: One base Midwest League 2015 65 advancement. 15. Batted or thrown baseball remaining on warning track between 1st and 3rd base concrete runways: In play. 16. Foul poles are outside of playing field. 17. Dugouts: The protective netting and railing is live. If a player falls into the dugout while attempting to make the play, the play is dead. If the ball goes into the dugout, the play is dead. If a ball caroms off the concrete facing of dugout, the play is dead. 2. Media pits: If a player falls into one of the media pits while attempting to make a play, the play is dead. If the ball goes into either media pit, the play is dead. If the ball caroms off the concrete facing of the media pits or dugout, the play is dead. 3. Backstop net: There is no break in the net. The net is in play. 4. Railings along first and third base lines are in play. 5. Tarp: No Elevation. Player must catch ball with two feet on ground. If a fair ball bounces off tarp onto playing surface, it is in play. If a ball lodges in tarp, it is dead. 6. Outfield: Any batted ball that clears the fence or hits the scoreboard is a home run. If a ball becomes lodged under padded wall signs, it is dead. 7. Centerfield: The centerfield wall is 16’ high. The green batter’s eye tarp is set beyond the wall and is not part of the wall. A batted ball must only clear the 16’ high wall to be home run. 8. Outfield Light Towers: A batted ball that hits a light tower beyond the outfield fence on the fly is a home run. A batted ball that hits a sign hanging on a light tower beyond the outfield fence on the fly is a home run.
