High School: Darlington Position: QB 2013: Medically redshirted, after rushing the ball twice for two yards in mop up duty in the opener against Wayne State (9/5). Injured prior to week two. High School: Dubose passed for 1,581 yards and rushed for 871 more as the starting quarterback for the Darlington Falcons. The 6-0 fire baller threw for a season high 229 yards and three scores in a 33-30 loss to Hartsville. That game, he also rushed 16 times for 110 yards and another touchdown. Dubose pummeled Lamar on the ground in week three of his senior year, picking up 162 yards on 13 carries – 12.46 yards a touch – plus a season best three TDs. Dubose put the ball in the end zone 26 times in his senior season, 17 through the air and nine on the ground. Dubose was his team’s offensive MVP in 2009 as a freshman the region’s top offensive back in 2012 as well as the region’s player of the year for 2012. Made the all-zone first team and the all-region first team. Personal: Academically, was a member of Darlington’s A/B honor roll and was the student body vice president. The son of William and Cheryl Dubose, his father played football at South Carolina State. Was also recruited by Duke, Wofford, South Carolina State, Catawba and the Citadel. High School: Pendleton Position: WR 2013: Became the first Carson-Newman wide receiver under Ken Sparks since Darren Hughes in 1990 to catch eight passes in a game, Eubanks did so against both North Greenville (10/26) and Shorter (10/12). He finished the year with 23 catches for 390 yards and two scores. Both his touchdowns came in the opener against Wayne State (9/5). Set a career high and became the first C-N wideout with more than 100 yards receiving in two years with 138 yards through the air at North Greenville. Nearly had a trio of 100 yard receiving games, had 97 yards against Wayne State and 95 against Shorter. Long reception of 63 yards came against Wayne State. Only played in seven games because of injury, but his 3.23 receptions per game ranks second among players in the Ken Sparks era. 2012: Finished as C-N’s third leading receiver after starting one and appearing in all 12 of C-N’s games. High School: Evans played high school football for Gary Rankin at Alcoa. A 2010 Tennessee 2A all-state honoree and one of three finalists for 2010 Tennessee Class AA Mr. Football Lineman of the Year award, Evans helped lead Alcoa to state championships and a 44-1 overall record in three years as a starter.
