Started 26 of the 27 games in which he appeared. He missed one game and one start with a bout of pink eye. Led C-N with 4.2 assists per game. Shot 55 percent from the field and 53 percent from three-point range. He had 14 games with at least 10 points, one 20-point game and 11 games where he handed out five assists. Also produced seven, five-rebound games. Reset his career high for points with a 27-point effort in a home win over Newberry (1/25). In that game he hit 8-of-11 shots, the only three he took and a career high 10-of-12 free throws. Snared a career best eight rebounds - all defen-sive - in a road victory at Catawba (2/1). Reset his career high for assists with nine helpers in a home win over Tusculum (11/20). Had his best stretch from Jan. 18 - Feb. 5 when he averaged 15.1 points over a six-game stretch. Also produced a career high five steals on two occasions - at Newberry (3/1) and at Anderson (1/29). Had three games where he had at least 10 points, five rebounds and five assists. 2012-13: One of three players on the team to play in all 28 games in 2012- 13. Made 21 starts. Averaged 5.5 points per game and 2.5 boards a game. Carson-Newman's leader in assists with 95. His 1.6:1 assist to turnover ratio was second on the team and eighth in the SAC (second among point guards). Third on the team in steals with 36. Had five games with more than 10 points, three with more than five rebounds and eight with five or more as-sists. Hit his season high for points with 17 in a home victory over Newberry (1/12). Made a career high nine-of-10 free throws in that game as well. The 17 points were a part of a string of five games where Johnson hit double figures in four - averaging 11.8 for the string.
