ATHLETICS ADMINISTRATION DARIN MOORE HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER AMANDA WOLF ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER RANDON COFFEY DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND CORPORATE SALES Coffey begins his third year at Southern as Director of Marketing and Corporate Sales. Coffey grew up in Webb City, MO and went on to graduate from Missouri Southern in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. While attending MSSU he worked in the athletics department doing marketing and in-game coordination for four years. Upon graduation Coffey went on to intern with the Kansas City Chiefs in their sponsorship department and came back to Missouri Southern full-time at the conclusion of the internship. He was married in March 2014 to his wife Nancy and they live in Joplin. He heads the Southern staff after serving three years as head athletic trainer at Vancleve (Miss.) High School and one year at Greenville (Ala.) High School. A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, he also was assistant athletic trainer at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College. Moore received a master’s of education-physical education degree in 1998 from Delta State University, where he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer, and a bachelor of science degree in physical education/human movement studies from Kent State University in 1996. A native of Lewistown, Ill., Moore also earned an associate of arts degree from Coffeyville Community College. Moore is married to the former Stephanie Shrum in July of 2007. The couple resides in Joplin and have a daughter, Ella (6). With nearly 20 years of athletic training experience, Amanda Wolf is in her tenth year as assistant athletic trainer at Missouri Southern State University. A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Wolf came to the Lions after two years as the head athletic trainer at McPherson (Kan.) College. There, she worked with 14 activities at the NAIA Division II institution and taught courses in the physical education department. Wolf previously worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Fort Hays (Kan.) State University, where she assisted with 16 NCAA Division II activities. Wolf, a native of Nevada, Mo., graduated from Missouri Southern in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in health promotion & wellness. While a student at MSSU, Wolf served as a student athletic trainer under former head trainer Marty Conklin and helped with 17 Southern sports and activities. She earned her master’s degree in health, physical education and recreation, with an emphasis in exercise science and sports administration, from Fort Hays State in 2002. Wolf and her husband, Kyle, have three daughters, Ava Grace (6), Leah (2), and a newborn Mya. The couple currently resides in Webb City. Nathan Bramwell begins his first year as the Coordinator of Athletic Facilities and Event Operations at Missouri Southern. He comes to Southern after spending the past two years as a graduate assistant at Lindenwood university in gameday management. Pior to that, Bramwell spent the two years working in a variety of minor league and college sports, including an internship with the low-A affiliate for the Pittsburgh Pirates, as well as a marketing internship with Missouri Southern. While at Lindenwood, Bramwell earned his Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in 2014. Bramwell currently resides in Joplin. His long term goal is to someday watch both the Chiefs and Royals win a playoff game. Kate Mata is in her fourth year at Southern as the Athletics Special Events and Annual Campaign Director. At Southern, Mata is responsible for running of the Lionbacker Booster Club, as well as overseeing and arranging every special event and fundraiser that Missouri Southern hosts each year, some 75 plus events a year. Prior to Southern, Mata spent three years working with the NBA Orlando Magic in group sales. Prior to the Magic, she spent four years as the group sales director with the St. Louis Cardinals’ double-A affiliate in Springfield, Mo. A native of St. Louis, Mo., Mata graduated from the University of Tampa in 2003.
