COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< The Missouri Southern Football Program is an active participant in the community service efforts in the Joplin Metro Area. The Lions volunteer their time at the Southwest Missouri Area Special Olympics. The Special Olympics event had athletes from 45 schools and agencies from the Southwest Missouri Area. The Lions have also been involved with the Joplin Community Cleanup and have volunteered their time to read to various local elementary school students, as well as helping to spearhead the Gridiron Battle for Blood drive this past year. 16 2014 Missouri Southern Football mssulions.com missourisouthernlions @mososports
