Tribulus has been hailed as Mother Nature’s (or should I say Father Earth’s?) very own testosterone boosting, muscle popping, libido driving super star supplement.
Although some research indicates that it does lead to small, acute spikes in androgen levels (ie – testosterone & DHT), just as many show it to have little to no effect on enhancing production of these hormones. However, despite some interesting findings in animals, we all know that animal studies do not always play nice and perfectly translate over to humans. Thus, I’d like to shift our focus towards research presented by Neychev & Mitev, who I believe are the only individuals who have examined and published their findings in a peer reviewed journal on testosterone production and Tribulus supplementation.
