Rauner’s appointees over the last three years have been overwhelming white

Rauner has appointed nearly 1,200 people to state boards, commissions, and task forces. The vast majority of those people identified themselves as white. Eight people reported having more than one ethnicity and were counted in both categories according to reports filed by Rauner’s office.
