James A. Gallogly

Jim Gallogly was born in Flint, Michigan, graduated from Linden High School and from Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Economics in 1985. He worked for The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Columbia, South Carolina as an Office Coordinator and Associate Crusade Director.

Jim began his career with John Hancock in 1987 as a Registered Representative in Columbia, South Carolina, became a Sales Manager in 1990 and a General Agent / Managing Partner in 1995. He is Past President of John Hancock Managing Partner“s Association and diligently worked on behalf of the sales force and Managing Partners. Three years after Jim became the General Agent of the Iowa Agency, the firm did a turnaround from one of the lowest ranked to one of the top ten agencies in John Hancock. He has qualified for numerous John Hancock and industry production and management firm awards. He is a member of NAIFA, GAMA and FPA and has moderated AMTC and LUTC classes.

Jim is currently a Member of the Board of Trustees for Spring Arbor University. He has served as Chairman of the Advancement / Communication Committee and member of the Executive Committee and Presidential Search Committee. He has been on church and conference boards for the Free Methodist Church and Church of the Nazarene. Jim is a member of Hallbrook Country Club where he was past Chairman for the Highlander Member Guest Tournament and served on the Golf and Food and Beverage Committees.

Jim has been married to Christy for 32 years and they have lived in Leawood, Kansas since 1998. They have 2 children. Jenna is a freshman in high school and Jim, Jr. is a senior at St. Louis University and will attend SLU Medical School next year. The family is active in Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene, enjoys singing and playing instruments and traveling.
