Vax Rights Atty Legal Defense Fund

$25,220 of $25,000 goal

Raised by 431 people in 9 months

Please contribute to my legal defense fund! In brief:

Someone at the NC State Bar apparently doesn't like what I do for a living, so they have initiated proceedings with the apparent pre-determined end goal of taking my license, on false pretenses. This is not just an attack on me personally, it's an attack on the entire vaccine awareness movement, as I am literally the only attorney in the U.S. who does what I do. If I lose, the entire movement loses something important. For more on my work, please see www.vaccinerights.com

Meanwhile, the NC Bar recently took the unprecedented step of filing a lawsuit against me, demanding that I hand over years of my clients' files. This not only violates my clients' sacred right to attorney-client confidentiality, the NC Bar doesn't  even have the legally required "allegation of misconduct" for the underlying (so-called) investigation! That's right--they want years of clients' files, but they are not even accusing me of doing anything wrong!

The NC Bar investigator wants to dig around in my clients' files to see if he can find something wrong, but this would be an unlawful "fishing expedition" (actual legal term)--a blatant due process violation. If he doesn't find something, though, he'll make something up, as I have proof that he has done that before, and others claim the NC Bar has done this with them...

And there's a good chance that the court will rubber-stamp the Bar's demand. The system protects itself! But projects are underway to address that concern...

The NC Bar investigator also wants to know where my clients live, so he can involve other state bars in his witch hunt...

Most of what I do is volunteer work--radio shows, conferences, legislative activism nationally, time with emails and phone calls, etc., so I can't afford to hire an attorney for my defense, but I do need one!

Please help!
