While it is important to wear hearing protection in environments where your hearing may otherwise be damaged, wearing them all the time creates the sort of ‘silent’ environment where you can only focus on your tinnitus. Keeping active and involved in your interests and hobbies can enhance your quality of life, taking your focus away from tinnitus.
