What I’ve noticed, is that the act of entering a meditative state for even just 5 or 10 minutes has great benefit. In the first moments of day before our mind is fully awake can be a wonderful time for meditation.
You are about to be guided on a morning meditation where you will harness the energy of the early morning rays of the sun, that radiates loving energy throughout your body. Stay seated for a few minutes in your meditation area so as to not allow the energy and positive vibrations to dissipate quickly. Allotting yourself a few moments first thing in the morning to just be still,  quiet your mind and simply breathe, can do wonders for yourself and your sanity.  Dr.

Working out in the morning is not only good for you in terms of losing weight and staying fit, but it gets our endorphins flowing. Fortunately, I’ve never driven in the way Rabbi Schiffman describes above, but I used to be a lot more aggressive behind the wheel when I lived in California. This is another time when I need to tell myself that this is what she needs from me as a husband right now.
When you are immersed in Torah, even while pondering the question, even while struggling to make sense of it all, you are at truth already. Your gentleness in standing with your wife as she processes information openly may be difficult, but it is both an act of love to do so, and the practice of the virtue you began this meditation on.

In order to get the best results, set aside a regular time of day such as first thing in the morning or last thing at night, preferably in the same place so as to ground the practice in your very being.
The aim of the present moment awareness meditation is to achieve a calm, clear, alert mind. Recently, I've been thinking that it would be nice to do a guided meditation first thing in the morning, before I even get out of bed. It's not necessary to do this meditation while you are still in bed, but it is written with the assumption that it will be done some time early in the morning before you begin your day.

Wayne Dyer recommends using meditation for manifesting your destiny, by putting out into the universe what you want to accomplish and bring back into your own life.  According to Dr. Again, you don’t have to guzzle or slip slowly, but take a minute to enjoy your morning beverage. When you first meditate, your mind might be like an unruly teenager, undisciplined and always wanting its own way.

I have been looking for something like this for the longest while.God led me to this site this morning and the meditation is just what I needed to hear.
I noticed that the meditation you commented on (#4) was one I recorded over a year and a half a go. I am so grateful that I found this site, because my spirit just did not agree with the worldly form of meditation. Meditation can have a profound impact on how we can cope with stress, and deal with daily struggles. You know how when you are in a hurry things just seem to keep going wrong -- slowing it down will help. It affirms my beliefs in so many ways, it truly is remarkable when that aha moment occurs and something else comes into the light as I read it. Therefore, as a beginner you give the mind lots to focus on; as you improve your meditation and relaxation skills you give it fewer and simpler objects of focus.
