When we hear about mindfulness techniques, mindfulness training, mindfulness for beginners or meditation in general, a number of things can flash through our minds, like your weird aunt who fed you tofu when you were a kid and burned incense in her car and was actually pretty cool now that you think about it… to skinny gurus sitting in caves in India to top athletes getting into the zone and a whole host of other things you may have heard through your life, seen on tv read about in magazines or newspapers, seen on Facebook. After we have practiced mindfulness meditation a couple times a day for a while, it will start to bake itself into our process more and more and we will gain the skill to transform and create our own lives to our highest good in every moment.
