Without a doubt your health is one of the most important things in life and just as the saying goes, “Health is wealth”. Stop comparing yourself to people who you are jealous or envious of, this will leave you in a scarcity mindset, you have to make the transition to a mindset of abundance – stop thinking you are not good enough. When you get the urge of staying in your comfort zone, tell yourself that you deserve better and you can be better. Do something that completely removes you from your comfort zone, even if it is only a small thing. Setting goals help lift the veil of smoke that is covering your mind, goal setting helps clear up confusion and sets you on a straight path to where you want to be in the near future.

There is nothing like swimming as a sport to improve your water ability, technique, and confidence.
If you are a decent swimmer, but need to improve your technique or conditioning, you will need a pool and some form of coaching.
There are many other ways to build water confidence, but the true key is to get in the water more often and your confidence will grow every day.

Failing to act upon gaining self confidence can lead to missed opportunities or it may even prevent you in achieving your greatest potential in life. You have to live by the mindset that you can achieve anything that you put your mind too and these rings true to everyone. You’ll be surprised how good you will feel after bashing through your comfort zone and exceeding your limits. Treat your body with respect and make sure you are exercising at least 3-4 times a week, whether it is high intensity interval training or a simple walk for half an hour in the morning. This simple trick can boost your self confidence almost instantaneously, start walking 25% faster (even when you don’t feel like it) all of the time and you will be pleasantly surprised. If you posture is low and hunched over this automatically sends a signal to your mind and the outside world that you are feel down and low. They teach everything from basic to the most advanced skills about water confidence depending on your military branch and whether or not you’re in a special ops school. However, being a non-swimming athlete is fine as long as you make time in your training day to prepare for various skills relating to military swimming. But if you do, you will need access to a pool several times a week if you are serious about mastering water confidence to the tune of Navy SEALs, Air Force PJs, divers and rescue swimmers, and USMC RECON. For the more advanced special ops level you will float, bottom bounce, travel 100m, do flips underwater, and grab your mask with your teeth on the bottom of the pool because your hands and feet are tied behind your back. Strait face on self portraits can be great but it’s even more fun to go about your day trying to see yourself in various objects.

Life will always find a way to make you feel insecure and challenge the way you believe in yourself. As soon as you realize the results of your labor you will boost your self confidence gain momentum and get ready to take on anything. Your sanity is way safer when you value failure as an outcome which you can learn something from instead of living your life in constant fear. Raise your chest up and stand tall, this sends positive endorphins throughout the body and makes you confident and ready to take on anything.
There are many ways to improve your confidence in the water, and most require you to be in a pool more often than not, but some techniques can actually be practiced and honed without a big lap pool to swim in. It takes 5-6 hours of time in the water per week for most people to master the skills required to be water confident. And we all know that’s not a good feeling and if you let it get to you, pretty soon you’ll be changing your whole outlook on life. Unfortunately, health won that round but good thing the following tips will try and make up for that. Go out there and do something you really love to do and stick at it – you will get so good that you will reach the tipping point, the point where success and abundance just flows into your life. Focus on the details, try out silhouettes, do self timer action shots so it’s not just a close up of your face.
Writing down how grateful you are in every aspect of your life will work wonders in resetting your mindset from negative to more positivity, optimism and confidence.
