Adding a twist to the typical party scene - smoky venues of drugs and alcohol, music and flashing lights, the Art of Living Foundation (AOLF), a global educational non-profit, announced today that it is bringing Yoga Rave to San Francisco for the first time to allow youth and adults to celebrate and enjoy in a healthy manner. The Art of Living Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational and humanitarian organization founded by spiritual leader and humanitarian Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The duo presents an integral way of conceiving and creating music based on vibrations and thousand-year-old mantras combined with electronic beats in addition to a variety of other musical styles.
A portion of the proceeds from the Yoga Rave concerts will go towards bringing the Youth Empowerment Seminar, developed by partner organization The International Association for Human Values, to the local youth with a focus on improving the mental and emotional health of the students by teaching practical yoga and meditation techniques so that they can deal with stress in their daily life in a positive manner.

Hundreds of thousands of party-goers and yogis have experienced their unique blend of chants, beats, yoga, meditation and dancing. This four-hour event will take the attendees on a journey of relaxation from movement and meditation to an all-out celebration.
The event will offer soul stirring music, sights and sounds to delight and will use nourishing food to bring a true intoxication to uplift the body, mind and soul.
The hi-decibel performance will be led by Nicolás Pucci and Rodrigo Bustos featuring their popular music from the So What Project!
