STEP 1
Start with a smooth or
wood-grained Therma-Tru
composite jamb featuring
Tru-Guard composite
technology.
STEP 2
Using the setting tool, drill
the fastener through the
thickest part of the jamb for
better long-term performance.
STEP 3
Continue driving the fastener
into the jamb at a steady
speed until the setting tool
disengages.
STEP 4
Place the finished screw plug
into the cored hole of the jamb.
STEP 5
Gently tap the screw plug into
the cored hole until the plug is
flush with the jamb surface.
Screw plugs are made of the
same material as the jamb,
helping them to blend in and
hide unsightly screws.
