ENERGY STAR is a voluntary program that was created by the EPA and is administered by the EPA and U.S. Department of Energy. Its goal is to help reduce the energy consumption and help consumers protect the environment.
The standard for energy-efficiency is an ENERGY STAR qualification. An ENERGY STAR qualified product tells a consumer that the product they are considering helps protect the environment through superior energy efficiency.
Because of their design and construction, more than 80% of Therma-Tru entryway systems qualify for the ENERGY STAR program.
