Biography
Michael is the Executive Director, Strategy and joined Ofqual in 2013.
His previous roles include:
- Director, Strategy & Markets, Ofqual
- Associate Director, Strategic Policy & Risk, Ofqual
Prior to joining Ofqual, Michael worked in local government, for Coventry City Council. He is a Director at the Institute of Regulation.
Executive Director, Strategy, Ofqual
The Executive Director, Strategy is responsible for:
- leading the development of Ofqual’s corporate and regulatory strategy with the Ofqual Board
- communications to promote public confidence in regulated qualifications
- risk management and analysis of the qualifications market
- encouraging and regulating innovation in qualifications
