Biography
Baroness Stedman-Scott OBE was appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions on 30 July 2019.
She was previously a Government Whip (Baroness in Waiting) from 27 October 2017 to 29 July 2019.
Previous career
Baroness Stedman-Scott joined the House of Lords in July 2010.
She was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant for East Sussex in 2007 and an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2008 New Year Honours.
