Cathy Bassa

Biography

Cathy Bassa is the Deputy Ambassador and HM Consul to Cuba.

Cathy arrived in Havana in August 2021 following her role as Deputy Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire. Cathy joined the Diplomatic Service in 2003 and has previously held a role in Cameroon. She has held a range of positions in London, including policy officer for Nepal and roles covering crisis management and consular assistance.
