Biography
Ms Jill Morris CMG was appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic and Her Majesty’s non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of San Marino. Ms Morris took up her appointment during July 2016. In February 2019 she became the Overseas Network Representative on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Management Board.

British Ambassador to Italy and San Marino
The Ambassador represents Her Majesty The Queen and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and consular services.
Management Board Overseas Network Representative
The Management Board Overseas Network representative gives corporate leadership to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office by ensuring that the department meets the foreign policy priorities, Public Service Agreements targets and service delivery targets set by ministers.
