The Reserve Forces' & Cadets' Association for Yorkshire and The Humber

Reserve Forces and Cadets Association for Yorkshire and the Humber supports reserves, cadets and the wider military through our enduring relationships with local business and civic communities.

Champion Cadets

We support more than 8,500 cadets and over 2000 cadet force adult volunteers within the Yorkshire and the Humber region. As champions of the cadet movement we promote the benefits of the cadet experience to young people lives.

Engage with the local community and employers on behalf of defence

We work with local employers to encourage support of the Armed Forces community and recognise the valuable skill set members of the Armed Forces community bring to the workplace. A Force for Good Business

Companies in Yorkshire are increasingly recognising the business benefits of employing veterans and reserves, as consulting and engineering firm WYG shows.

WYG president, Douglas McCormick said:

We recognise the value that service leavers and reservists bring to the company and are committed to supporting them. More importantly, the ERS Gold Award doesn’t mark the end of that commitment, but the beginning.
