Chloë Jayne Adams

Biography
Ms Chloë Adams joined the FCO in 2004. She has been British Consul General Montreal since July 2018. Her previous overseas postings include British Embassy Paris (2014-2018) and the UK Mission to the United Nations in New York (2008-2012). Her London-based roles have included working on European Union affairs, Consular issues and Cuba policy.
Ms Adams graduated from University of Bristol, UK, with a Master’s Degree in Geography in 2002.
Ms Adams and her husband, Andrew, have a daughter (Astrid, born 2016).
British Consul General in Montreal
The Consul General is the senior UK official in a Consulate-General, which is a subordinate office to the Embassy or High Commission, usually located in another major city. The Consul General represents the UK government and is typically responsible for consular, visa and trade activities in their city or region.
