DWP can send information from pension, insurance companies and solicitors to customers using the tracing and letter forwarding service.

DWP provides a tracing and letter forwarding service for pension, insurance companies and solicitors to forward beneficial information to customers, usually about pensions or insurance policies. This is called the Bulk Letter Forwarding service.
Every effort must have been made to trace the person concerned before asking us to forward any letters. There is a charge for this service.

- Updated the opening times of the Bulk Letter Forwarding service to 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
- Replaced the guidance and the BLF1010 and BLF1015 forms with updated versions, following a change in address and phone numbers.

- Revised the bulk letter forwarding PDF - changes to payment of invoices using Automatic Credit Transfer (ACT) bank details.
- Removed the Bulk Letter Forwarding customer charter. It is included in the DWP customer charter.
