West Palm Beach is a city in and the county seat of Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. It is located immediately to the west of the adjacent Palm Beach, which is situated on a barrier island across the Lake Worth Lagoon. The population was 99,919 at the 2010 census. West Palm Beach is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to an estimated 6,158,824 people in 2017.

It is the oldest incorporated municipality in the South Florida area, having been incorporated as a city two years before Miami in November 1894. West Palm Beach is located approximately 68 miles (109 km) north of Downtown Miami.

Royal Palm Beach is a village in southeast Florida, located within Palm Beach County. The population was measured at 34,140 in the 2010 census. Despite its name, the village is located approximately fifteen miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean.

Palm Valley is a census-designated place (CDP) in St. Johns County, Florida, United States. The population was 19,860 at the 2000 census.

Palm Springs is a desert resort city in Riverside County, California, United States, within the Colorado Desert’s Coachella Valley. The city covers approximately 94 square miles (240 km²), making it the largest city in Riverside County by land area. With multiple plots in checkerboard pattern, more than 10% of the city is part of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians reservation land. Traditionally the Cahuilla refer to the Palm Springs area as Sec-he or Se-Khi.

Palm Springs is a village in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. Located in the east-central part of the county, Palm Springs is situated east of Greenacres, west of Lake Clarke Shores and Lake Worth Beach, and southwest of West Palm Beach. As of the 2010 United States Census, the village had a population of 18,928, while the Census Bureau estimated that the population of Palm Springs increased to 25,216 people in 2019. It is a village within the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to an estimated 6,012,331 people as of 2015.

William A. Boutwell operated a dairy farm on 5 acres (2.0 ha) of land in modern-day Palm Springs beginning in 1927, which expanded to about 700 acres (280 ha) prior to his retirement in 1956. One year later, the Florida Legislature approved a charter establishing the village of Palm Springs as Palm Beach County’s 30th municipality on July 4, 1957. The village name was likely derived from the resort city of Palm Springs, California. At the time of incorporation, the village only consisted of farmland, a dairy barn, and no permanent residents. However, by just over a year later, around 800 homes had been built, while four schools were constructed in or near Palm Springs between 1959 and 1970, and the first village hall was erected in 1960.

Today, the village is continuously expanding via annexation, which began in 1998. Palm Springs is the home of the Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center, the headquarters of the School District of Palm Beach County.

Palm River-Clair Mel is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. The population was 21,024 at the 2010 census, up from 17,589 at the 2000 census. The census area includes the unincorporated communities of Clair-Mel City and Palm River. The ZIP code for Palm River-Clair Mel is 33619.

Palm River-Clair Mel is located just west of the geographic center of Hillsborough County at 27°55′41″N 82°22′44″W / 27.92806°N 82.37889°W / 27.92806; -82.37889 (27.928150, -82.378900), or approximately 6 miles (10 km) southeast of downtown Tampa. The CDP is bordered to the north and west by the city of Tampa, to the east by Brandon, to the southeast by Riverview, and to the south by Progress Village. The Palm River forms the northern boundary of the CDP.

U.S. Route 41 runs through the western part of the CDP, leading north into the eastern part of Tampa and south to Gibsonton. U.S. Route 41 Business runs west from US 41 and crosses East Bay/McKay Bay for a more direct route to downtown Tampa. U.S. Route 301 forms the eastern edge of the CDP, running north to East Lake-Orient Park and south to Riverview.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the Palm River-Clair Mel CDP has a total area of 11.7 square miles (30.4 km²), of which 11.5 square miles (29.9 km²) are land and 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²), or 1.77%, are water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 24,379 people living in the community. The racial makeup of the community was 51% White, 35% African American, 0% Native American, 2% Asian, 0% Pacific Islander, 8% from other races, and 4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 35% of the population.

There were 6,034 households, out of which 38.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.6% were married couples living together, 21.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.8% were non-families. 19.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.91 and the average family size was 3.33.

In the community the population was spread out, with 31.5% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 29.1% from 25 to 44, 21.8% from 45 to 64, and 8.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.5 males.

The median income for a household in the community was $35,380, and the median income for a family was $38,035. Males had a median income of $27,796 versus $22,973 for females. The per capita income for the community was $14,593. About 14.9% of families and 17.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 26.1% of those under age 18 and 9.0% of those age 65 or over.
