the Service. If you are a freelancer who chooses to import
the name, company name, address,
phone number or email address of your contacts,
we will also collect this Personal
Information.
USE
OF THE SERVICE BY OUR CUSTOMERS
If a business customer of ours with
which you are associated (a “customer”) signs up to use our Services, we may
receive Personal Information about you in connection with our provision of our
Services to the customer. To the extent we process (as defined below) that
Personal Information solely in order to provide our Services to the customer,
under the
General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”), to the extent applicable, we will act as a processor
(as defined in the GDPR) on behalf of the customer in respect of that Personal
Information; this Privacy Policy will not apply to the processing of that
Personal Information and the customer will act as a controller (as defined in
the GDPR) in respect of that Personal Information and is responsible for
obtaining all necessary consents and providing you with all requisite
information as required by applicable law. To the extent we process your
Personal Information for any other lawful business purpose of ours, under the
GDPR, to the extent applicable, we will act as a controller of such Personal
Information and this Privacy Policy will apply to the processing of such
Personal Information. For clarification but not limitation, information we process for our
legitimate business purposes, such as product development, sales and marketing,
is not processed solely on behalf of the customer.
For
clarification, our customers use the Service
to help organize their own data related to production projects.
We do not control the content or
type of content that our customers
may choose to use with the Service, except
as set forth in our license agreement
with that customer. The information used with our Service and provided by a customer
belongs to the customer, and is used, disclosed
and protected by them according
to their privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy. We process Information provided by our customers as directed by each customer, and in accordance with our agreement with the particular customer. We store the Information on the servers
of our service providers, but we do not control
management of the data by our customers. If you use our Services, we will not use your
Production
Company/Customer Data or Production Company/Customer Content (each
as defined in your license
agreement with us) except as set forth in our license agreement
with you.

DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
We use Information we collect
to
help
our
Services
create
a
better
experience
for
you. Collecting Information about how you use Services helps us provide
you with better
service, including understanding which features are the most interesting to you, so that we are able to improve
them.

use your Information to create your account
(if you are a freelancer), to respond to your questions or requests
concerning the Website or the Services
offered by SyncOnSet, to provide
you Services you have
ordered,

communicate

you

Services
you've
purchased,

HOW
LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
How long we keep Information depends on the type of Information.
● We retain Personal Information where we have an ongoing legitimate business
need to do so (for example, to provide you the Service,
to respond to questions you may have,
for product development and sales and marketing, to enforce our agreements, and to
resolve disputes). We will stop using the Personal Information when we no longer have a
legitimate business need to do so.
If you request that we remove your Personal Information at an earlier date in accordance with this Privacy Policy (see Consent
and Data Correction) we will do so provided
we do not have a separate legal obligation to keep it (for example,
a lawsuit involving

Information. If the customer terminates their access to our Service, they may receive

pursuant to our agreement with them.
SECURITY
Your
Personal Information is contained behind
secured networks and is only accessible by a limited
number of persons who have special access
rights to such systems, and are required
to keep the information confidential.

protect your Personal
Information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry
best practices to make sure it
is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed,
disclosed, altered or

Please note that we are not responsible for how our customers use the data they store within the Service.

data, before we share your data with third parties other than our agents, or before we use it for a purpose
other than which it was originally collected

In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to
lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national

SyncOnSet’s accountability for personal data that it receives
in the United States under the Privacy
Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy
Shield Principles. In
particular, SyncOnSet remains liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if
third-party agents that it retains to process transfer data on SyncOnSet’s
behalf process such personal data in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy
Shield Principles, unless SyncOnSet can prove that it is not responsible for
the event giving rise to the damage.

compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles, SyncOnSet commits to resolve
complaints about your privacy and our
