AEW Facilitator Recruitment – Applications Due March 28th 

The Academic Excellence Workshop (AEW) Program is currently accepting Facilitator applications for 2019-2020. Applicants must be full-time engineering and computer science undergraduates in good academic standing with an overall GPA>= 3.0. Peer Office Hours

Looking for additional assistance in your courses? Peer Office Hours hosted by the AEW Facilitators provides individual assistance for all AEW related courses. Office hours are open to ALL ECS students. The complete schedule, which is updated daily, can be found on the ECS Guidebook app.


The Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS) offers a variety of tutoring options, including free group tutoring for a select number of courses each semester.  Review your options and sign up here.

Last Chance to Apply for Invent@SU Summer 2019

This summer, Invent@SU returns to transform undergraduate students into inventors as they design, prototype and pitch original devices. The immersive invention accelerators will be held at the Fisher Center in New York City (May 13-June 21) and on campus (July 1-August 9). The program is open to all SU undergraduate students.

In addition to a chance to win cash prizes of $5,000 for best invention and $3,000 for second best invention, students will receive:
• a $1,000 stipend;
• a $1,000 budget per team for project materials;
• guidance from expert consultants and evaluators;
• access to laser cutters, 3D printers, a machine shop and professional machinists;
• assistance with a provisional patent application; and
• daily lunch, coffee, and snacks.

2019 SPARK Innovation Competition – April 4th and 5th 

You have a chance to win $3,000, $2,000 or $1,000 cash prize per team by participating in the 2019 SPARK Innovation Competition. The event is also an opportunity to meet with potential employers and secure a job or internship position this summer.  Apply Here.
