Peer Office Hours 

Looking for additional assistance in your courses? Peer Office Hours hosted by the AEW Facilitators provides individual assistance for all AEW related courses. Office hours are open to ALL ECS students. The complete schedule, which is updated daily, can be found on the ECS Guidebook app.

Order of the Engineer Sign Ups

Engineering Seniors graduating in 2019 are eligible to be inducted into the Order of the Engineer – a symbolic organization that seeks to promote professionalism among engineers. It is a prestigious fellowship of engineers dedicated to the practice, teaching and administration of their profession. The Induction Ceremony will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 22nd in LSB 001. Students who wish to accept the Obligation of the Engineer pay a one-time initiation fee of $12.00 to cover membership and ring cost. Interested students must register at the front desk of the Student Success Center in 121 Link Hall between the hours of 9 am – 4pm by Friday, February 15th.

Pledge of the Computing Professional Sign Ups

CS and SIS Seniors graduating in 2019 are eligible to be inducted into the Pledge of the Computing Professional- a symbolic organization that seeks to promote professionalism and integrity among those with a Computer Science background. The Induction Ceremony will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 22nd in LSB 001. Students who wish to accept the Pledge pay a one-time initiation fee of $10.00 to cover membership and a lapel pin with a matrix with the word “Honor” encoded in ASCII. Interested students must register at the front desk of the Student Success Center in 121 Link Hall between the hours of 9 am – 4pm by Friday, February 15th.

Eweek

National Engineers Week starts February 17th!

In celebration of National Engineers Week (Eweek), Syracuse University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science will host a variety of speakers and activities beginning on Sunday, February 17. The events will bring engineering and computer science students and alumni together, and promote engineering disciplines to the broader campus community. All members of the SU community are welcome and encouraged to participate!

Door prizes will be awarded at many of the events, with a grand prize drawing at the conclusion of the Eweek where students can win an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Echo Dot, or a Bluetooth portable speaker.

ECS Student Olympics Countdown 

The ECS Olympics will be the official kick-off event to our National Engineers Week Celebration AND a Route 44 Event. Teams of 4-6 ECS students will compete against one another in a variety of academic, design, and fun challenges on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 12:00-5:00pm in Link Hall. Team registration is open through February 12th via this form.
