La pelÃcula estÃ¡ basada en hechos reales sobre la vida de Carl Brashear.

Carl Brashear naciÃ³ en Kentucky, en el seno de una familia de campesinos afroamericanos, cuyas vidas han estado fuertemente marcadas por el racismo. Mac, el padre de Carl, le enseÃ±a desde muy pequeÃ±o a valorar la perseverancia, y a vencer los obstÃ¡culos que los demÃ¡s le impongan a sus sueÃ±os.
Tan pronto cumple la edad necesaria, Carl entra a la Armada, pero por ser negro le relegan a la cocina, aunque en una oportunidad logra impresionar a un oficial con sus habilidades para nadar, lo que lo convence de buscar nuevos horizontes dentro de la Armada.

Un pelicula que no necesita presentaciÃ³n. Hombres e Honor es un filme que te encantara si te agradan las cintas sobre el ejercito y el honor.

Nos permite conocer y ver el racismo casi en sus ultimo tiempos en EEUU.

Me agrada mucho esta pelÃcula y no pudieron darle mejor papel a Robert De Niro.

La recomiendo # 10/10
