Inconsistent or skipping video. Some slower internet connections can cause stuttering or interruptions when playing back higher-bandwidth video. If you are experiencing this, try selecting a lower quality level (such as 160p or 360p) using the buttons above the player. If this doesn't work, try a speed test (speedtest.net is a good one). Run it more than once. If you observe less than 2mbps of consistent download speed, you may experience skipping because of low bandwidth. Try using a faster internet connection, a hardwire (instead of wifi) or move closer to your wifi access point.
Also check your CPU usage (using the Task Manager on windows, or Activity Monitor on a Mac OS device). If you are consistently approach 100% CPU utilization, close some programs or restart your computer to improve your streaming experience.
Video without audio. Ensure you can hear audio when listening to other videos (such as YouTube - here's an example.). If you can hear audio with those videos but not on the live stream, contact support@sparkstreetdigital.com. If you cannot hear audio on other videos, that suggests a muting or audio issue with your device.
