Market Stall - Hints & Tips

Boosting your business is all about meeting new people and a number of NeoLife Promoters are doing just that with their very own NeoLife market stall. From your local market to larger professional Expos, NeoLife Promoters are recognising the opportunity to get out and about. Here are a few tips to help you get your own business noticed.

Preparation is key:

Identify your audience and plan your stand accordingly. Decide which tools will best help you get the message across to your target audience. The Resources section in "MyOffice.NeoLife.com" is the place to go. There you will find literature over a wide range of products and topics. No matter your product groups, make sure to have plenty of flyers or brochures on hand for your potential customers to take home with them. Attach your business card or have your contact details on the literature so they can contact you with any further questions.

Making an impact

Now that you have your displays and supporting literature sorted, it's time to think about attracting attention. In Resources you can find some printable A3 - A1 posters to enhance the look of your stand or you can invest in some larger decals or banners if you plan to hold a stand regularly. You can brand with your own business name or as NeoLife or even try both! Remember, you are in partnership with NeoLife who supplies you the amazing products, so it's ok to have your own business identity too.

Final details

Now that you have secured your space, planned the set-up and sourced supporting materials, it's time to make your final preparations before the real fun can begin! An important part of your preparation is to make sure you are covered for insurance. Some shows ask for you to have your own indemnity insurance. Please contact Direct Selling Australia or DSA New Zealand who will be able to support with a cost effective group insurance option.

Before show day, spend some time on fine tuning your conversational skills. People do love to talk, so all you need is a one liner to start the conversation. Anything can work as long as it’s a question which makes people think: "How nutritious is your diet? Are you interested in boosting your immunity naturally?"

Once you are in a conversation your aim is to do one of the following:

  1. Follow the whole process and register them as a Promoter or Club Member (if you have time).
  2. Have a brief chat and then book them in for an appointment for a more in-depth chat at a later date.
  3. Take their contact details and follow up in a few days.

Take aways

Success will take many forms. Don't worry if you don't sell any product on the spot. Instead, set yourself a target of leads to ensure you are adding the value back into your business and to make your investment worthwhile. The more people you have to follow up on afterwards, the better.

Tell your prospects you would like to text them your website link while they are still with you. This confirms the telephone number and prevents any incorrect numbers. Finally, have a few days after the event to follow up on all your leads and be sure to get back to everybody.
