Someone's Watching Me

"I always feel like somebody's watching me," Michael Jackson. These song lyrics sparked the idea for my project, “Somebody's Watching Me.” My project highlights the theme of the invisible presence that “watches” us even when we think we’re alone. The strange power of being seen even in the absence of a human gaze. Whether it's a loved one, a stranger, death, nature, or art, this project helps visualize the forces that shape our behaviors, our emotions, and our choices. Each photo captures a moment that forces the observer to reconsider the line between watcher and watched. Whether through direct stares, glances, or presence, I want the viewer to question, What does it mean to be watched? This project is not about paranoia. It’s about connection. Even in solitude, we are never really alone. We carry memory, history, and presence everywhere we go. And in those quiet moments, when no one is around, we still feel it: somebody’s watching me.
