Start to keep a food diary documenting everything you eat for a few months, this will allow you to see when and why you eat what you eat.

With so many overweight people being discriminated against for jobs, is there really a place for such scrutiny?
I have spent many years training & preparing for this career and it should be about what I know not about how I look. When I see overweight trainers at the gym, I am not impressed and wouldn’t give them a dime of my money looking like that. But this is a visual business, with first impressions being the catalyst to a client calling and scheduling that appointment. I have used trainers over the years and if they did not look like they were fit, I felt that they could not get me there. With more people entering the health & fitness industry everyday, it makes good sense to stay on top of your game. It is more motivating if the person giving you the advice has obviously achieved the results. However, it is more important to me that they look the part because they’ve worked for it and not because they are naturally thin.
In that same vein though I also couldn’t hire a trainer who is just skinny (no muscle definition etc).

In an attempt to lose weight, people reduce the amount they eat and as a result ingest fewer nutrients in their diet.
