I have patelofemoral syndrome and was always just told to avoid the bike, which was really frustrating…. I haven’t used the popcorn popper or the popsicle maker I received as Christmas gifts in 2010. I use to have some control but since my son was born 10 weeks ago I haven’t done well. Meanwhile, the crap I wore in high school is not only too small, it’s grossly out of style. But because both my husband and I feel guilty tossing one we haven’t read, they quickly take over. Using it for beginners is a bit hard at first, but with some pratcise you can get used to it. The solution: we limited ourselves to ONE magazine subscription per person and made the switch from analog to digital (we have a Nook). This weekend I reflected on it for quite a while and ultimately decided that I could let them go.
Memories, after all, are not dependent on stuff to be retained; they are within us, not in things.
