This cycling jersey is specially designed for plus women, it is flattering and comfortable to wear, having all the features needed for cycling comfort. I had searched the UK (where I live) and could not get cycling gear in bigger sizes for women.
Giving it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars, the editors honored the Propel Advanced Pro for the second straight year, noting in its review some updates they feel make the 2015 model even better. The GT Grade Carbon 105 was judged Best Debut road bike by Cycling Plus magazine and now the review is on the Bikeradar website with a video. Now GT doesn’t call its offering – the Grade, which we first got a taste for last year – a ‘gravel bike’, thinking that it sounds a bit too niche. Comparing the geometry and shape with a ‘standard’ road bike – in this case our 2014 Bike of the Year, Cannondale’s Synapse – the Grade has 9mm more stack (627mm) and 10mm less reach (382mm).
The frame angles, at 72 for the seat and 72.5 for the head, are pleasingly standard but are accentuated by the super sloping frame design – making the bike look much slacker and more mountain bike-like than it actually is. The kicked-up-to-the-dropout chainstays are designed to move vertically, while the super skinny seatstays are actually constructed using glass-fibre (like a fishing rod) in their mid-section. Get off the beaten track and the Grade really impresses, being properly fast and composed on the gravel sections of our test loop. At the back there’s another touch of class via the combination of a Fizik Aliante saddle and a carbon FSA SL-K post.

The Grade is very different to anything else on the market, and for that reason plenty will consider it a bit niche. The speed isn’t compromised on road, and off road it’ll surprise you at just how far off the grid you can go. This article was originally published in Cycling Plus magazine, available on Apple Newsstand and Zinio.
Call it a ‘gravel’ racer, an urban cross bike – whatever, its something we like – and the GT Grade is a fine example.
When you take into account that the Grade has a 10mm higher bottom bracket, though, the actual ride position and feel is very similar, and doesn’t seem at all compromised at all when you’re on the road. With the stretched-out 1035mm wheelbase-adding bags of stability on road, the Grade is a superb high-speed cruiser for rolling terrain. In fact, we always felt we could exploit the bike’s top-end 52-36, especially on descents. It works, too – the almost soft-tail nature of the Grade makes it one of the most comfortably compliant bikes we’ve tried.
That extra length in the wheelbase and the stiff laterally yet flexible fore-aft fork makes the Grade superb at keeping on line even on the most rutted and potholed sections. Slick shifts and perfect braking controls are huge pluses, and we also love GT’s flared DropTune alloy bar.

The running gear features tubeless-ready rims from legendary mountain bike brand Stan’s, laced to simple but effective Formula disc hubs, with the front designed for the dedicated 15mm thru-axle front fork. If you’re looking for a bike that you can just get out and ride, and enjoy the wilderness and the tarmac in equal abundance, then the Grade is the perfect choice.
You might worry that’ll make the design a bit too off-road, in other words short in reach, tall in riding position and ungainly (for ground clearance). The Grade feels so planted, and it’s a thrilling experience to get into the wide flared drops of the GT bars and bomb every hill you can find. The drops flare out at a 14-degree angle, making your position in the drops wider than on the tops – great for clearance and brilliant off road. GT’s designers, however, have been pretty clever in creating a bike that not only has great on road manners, but proves capable off-road too. When it comes to the climbs the comfortable position and decent low range make up for the extra mass in the wheels, which are wrapped in fat 28mm rubber.
