Our CustomersThis policy applies to all customers of PAX Australia and ReedPOP, who include but are not limited to, our show exhibitors, show visitors, conference visitors, customer inquiries, speakers, press, and other individuals with whom ReedPOP maintains business relationships or communications.
Customer Information and UseTwo primary types of information are gathered about our customers: Financial Information is payment information used for or gathered during the registration process and includes, but is not limited to, credit card numbers, financial institutions, and expiration dates. This information is not used for any purpose other than that for which it is being provided to us, and is used only to the extent necessary for processing the transaction or to facilitate future transactions. Professional Information includes, but is not limited to, name, address, company name, company address, phone number, fax number, and email address, as well as questions answered on survey or registration forms. Data captured during a customer's visit to PAX Australia’s website, as well as during a visit with a PAX Australia customer is also considered professional information and may also be stored in our customer database for our internal use. Professional information may be, upon the consent of PAX Australia, shared with other organizations or PAX Australia customers for the purpose of facilitating business relationships believed by ReedPOP to be in our customers' best interests. it is otherwise permitted under the Act Whenever we collect personal information from you we will do so in a lawful and fair way. We will also advise you how and where to contact us. If we collect the information from a third party we will take reasonable steps to advise you of that collection promptly.We will tell you why we are collecting the information and the third parties to whom we usually disclose that information. If you do not wish to provide the information we request, we will tell you what impact this will have. We will only disclose personal information in accordance with the Act. This means that it will be disclosed if:
- we told you when collecting it that it would be disclosed for that purpose or for a related purpose that you would reasonably expect;
- we have your consent;
- it is part of business assets which we are selling;
- we are required by law to disclose it;
